Room 2's Trip To The Botanical Gardens
On Thursday we went to the Botanical Gardens with the year ones and year zeros. First we went on the Bus and then we went on a bush walk. After that we went to look at the vegetable garden and then we had morning tea . First then we went to feed the ducks then my favourite was going to children's gardens.

On Thursday year 1 had a trip to the Botanical Gardens. First at school we had to get ready for our trip, like getting our name tag and getting in our right groups. My group was Niki's Group. Then we hopped in the bus but
my group came in the bus first and my favourite part on the bus was sitting at the back because it looks like I was almost taller than all of the children and mums and dads. When we were there we went for a bush walk and we looked at the leaves and trees, my favourite was the silver fern. After that we went to the vegetable garden. My group we needed to find these vegetable they are corn and beans.It was a wonderful day.

After lunch we played some games and we went to the children's garden and we went to the cactus garden. We went to the smelling garden. Then we played with the toys and we went back on the bus and went back to school. It was fun where we went.

On thursday 29 october we went to the botanical gardens on the bus. First we went on a bush walk to look at the different shapes of the leaves. Then we went to the vegetable garden. Our group found corn, lettuce, beans and cucumbers. After that we had morning tea. We had a good day my favourite part was looking at the cactus. We saw cactuses they are prickly as well. After that we went to the smelling garden I smelt some of the roses and flowers. Then we went in the house with the computers in it and then we went on the bus back to school.

After that, we went to sleep. Then I went home and played with my sister. She was cleaning her room after she finished her room, she played with me. I felt happy to see my family.

Visit to the Fire Station - Parneet
Trip to the Fire Station
On Wednesday we went to the Manurewa Fire Station. We had a turn at the hose. I learnt that we need a smoke alarm and dial 111 if your home is on fire. They help the people that are stuck in the fire and in an emergency.
My favourite part was when I wet Miss Crook! I had fun when I wet Miss Crook.

We went to visit the fire station. We squirted the cars and the flowers with the hose. I learnt that firemen uses an oxygen tank. the fire truck has a long ladder on it. they help us by saving us from fires. My favourite part was driving on the bus.
